Join Brookings Professional Network (BPN) for a Community Engagement Service Project in partnership with Brookings Area United Way. This hands-on volunteer opportunity will focus on refreshing one of Brookings’ Born Learning Trails, located at Hillcrest Park, on Thursday, June 4th.
Volunteer shifts are available between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, allowing participants the flexibility to contribute as their schedule allows. Sign up for your shift here.
The Born Learning Trails are designed to provide free, evidence-based developmental learning experiences that support school readiness for children, families, and individuals throughout Brookings County. While the trails are geared toward early learners ages 0–8, they are welcoming spaces for individuals of all ages to explore and enjoy. By helping maintain and enhance this space, volunteers will play a direct role in supporting early childhood development and creating a vibrant, engaging environment for families in our community.
This project is a great opportunity to give back, connect with fellow professionals, and make an impact in Brookings.
