Description
Join Brookings Professional Network (BPN) for our Community Tour, an opportunity to explore the spaces, projects, and places that shape the Brookings community.
Each tour highlights a different local business, organization, or public service, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the work that keeps our community running. This month, we're excited to visit the Brookings Regional Landfill, where attendees will gain insight into the day-to-day operations of the facility, learn how waste is managed and diverted, and discover the important role the landfill plays in serving Brookings and the surrounding region.
From environmental stewardship to the logistics of managing thousands of tons of material each year, this tour offers a unique perspective on an essential community service that many of us rely on but rarely get to see firsthand.
This event is a great opportunity to learn something new, ask questions, and connect with fellow professionals while gaining a deeper appreciation for the infrastructure that supports our community.
